‘Infinity Blade’ to Hit App Store on December 9
Infinity Blade, the game first demonstrated at Apple’s media event in September under the code name Project Sword, now has an official release date. As TouchArcade reports, Epic Games will release the universal app on December 9 with a $5.99 price tag.

A game trailer surfaced earlier this month, showing actual gameplay on an iPhone as well as some cut scenes. Though you still have a few more days to wait for the app to be available, you can at least try out Epic Citadel now. This free app was released in early September and lets you explore Infinity Blade’s environment and bask in its vibrant clarity. As with the upcoming Infinity Blade game itself, Epic Citadel will run only on the iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and 3rd-generation or later iPod touch.
