Yelp, the popular online user-drive business review service, has updated its app to incorporate Facebook check-ins. Facebook released its Places with check-ins feature in August and Yelp had committed at that time to incorporate this new API to augment its own services.

Version 4.4.3 of the free Yelp app hit the App Store early this morning. The full description of the app’s new features is as follows:

Sprechen sie Deutsch? Now Yelp does too. This update brings you all of Yelp’s goodness, translated into German. And one more thing: now you can see your friends’ Facebook check-ins in the Yelp app. Disconnect then reconnect from Facebook in the Yelp app Settings, and you’ll be all set.

Yelp has been busy this year keeping its app up-to-date with 9 updates so far this year alone. Yelp was one of the first apps compatible with iOS 4 when it was released earlier this year.
