Netflix App Gets Video-Out Support for iPhone 4, New iPod touch
An update for Netflix’s universal app hit the App Store tonight, bringing video-out support for the iPhone 4 and the 4th-generation iPod touch that was announced early last month. Netflix is a U.S.-based company that offers DVD rentals by mail and video streaming. Its app only recently made it to the iPhone in late August, having started out as an iPad-only app at its initial release in early April.
In the U.S. the least expensive plan that includes unlimited video streaming costs $8.99 per month. Netflix recently became available in Canada though the service offers only video streaming in that country.

Marianne (or anyone),
Where’s the announcement article on macrumors – regarding:
… bringing video-out support for the iPhone 4 and the 4th-generation iPod touch that was announced early last month…
The link provided is a directory list, most recent first. Without a date of “early last month”, I’m having a hard time finding.
