EA Mobile Labor Day Game Sale
EA Mobile is offering its Hasbro game titles for sale over the Labor Day holiday weekend, with some titles down to $.99 from $2.99 or higher. While these electronic equivalents to popular board games might not be as exciting to some as other EA games like the recently-released Mirrors Edge for the iPhone, which Touch Arcade reviewed earlier this week, we always appreciate the opportunity to save money on high-quality apps.
EA hasn’t stated when this sale will end, but we’d guess these apps will go back to their regular prices at the end of Labor Day or shortly thereafter, so grab them up now if any of these have been on your Wish List.

Why is Risk $2?
3:15 pm, September 4th, 2010
@Rocko: Because Risk is a relatively new release and EA like any company wants to maximize profits. But to answer you as succinctly as possible…”Because they can” and this makes good business sense. After they get all the people willing to part with $2, at some future date you will see the .99 cent price. How quickly that comes will depend on sales, obviously.
