Square Enix, the makers of the Final Fantasy franchise, has released Chaos Rings for the iPad as promised just a few months ago shortly after the release of the iPhone version. Chaos Rings is an RPG  in which you control a 2-person team (out of four possible team options) to compete in a fighting tournament where immortality is the prize. Interspersed between tournament fights are character story lines and puzzles. Touch Arcade reviewed the iPhone version when it was released and found it to be impressive overall.

To celebrate the release of Chaos Rings for the iPad, other Square Enix games are on sale for two weeks so now is a good time to snatch them up if you’ve had your eye on any of their other titles.
